Nutrition Simplified- Achieving Balance and Sustainability

Nutrition is my jam. Now, anyway. It wasn’t always. Yeah, I ate “healthy”. Lean Cuisines and Diet Coke used to be my jam. I paid zero attention to what I was putting in my body, but fully believed that a 1500 calorie salad was a good lunch choice and could nearly eat my weight in steak, baked potato, and buttery green beans at dinner… protein, carb, veggie, right?

About 5 years ago I committed to and dove into a fitness and nutrition program that would forever change the landscape of how I approached my nutrition. One that allowed for balance. See, I was always under the impression you could have abs or cake, not both. I never understood how nutrition worked and fueled our bodies, and didn’t care enough to learn.

It took several weeks, some consistency, learning, understanding, and I began to understand what portion styled eating meant. That if I balanced my macronutrients throughout the day I could have my cake and eat it too, and abs for that matter! I’m not one for counting- calories, carbs, macros, points, etc but this just made sense.

I’ve worked through this same nutrition for over 4 years and have helped hundreds of women with similar nutrition and creating balance. And I’m now getting certified in teaching you how to achieve this too. We learn to meal prep. We work through recipes together. We create balance.

So What’s Next?

On September 1st I’m kicking off a Nutrition Bootcamp. One that incorporates balance, simplicity, and sustainability. I’ve seen too many people try these fad diets and fail; hell, I am one. But to be able to change the mindset of how you think of nutrition, that is exactly what we should be doing, right?
