    The BEST Banana Bread Recipe

    I vowed to use this time at home to bake more with the girls. Their most recent request was for a super gooey, chocolate chip filled banana bread. And where I’ve made good banana breads in the past I was determined to make THE recipe that would wow them and assure that not one crumb would go to waste. This. Is. It. Gooey. Buttery.     You can’t spell Taco Tuesday without “YES” or “EAT”… And when my picky kids EAT chicken chili that’s loaded with veggies, it makes this momma say, “YES!” This can be done in the crockpot or in the Instant Pot- depending on what you have time for.     Harvest is near.     Seven Layer American Flag Dip

    Every patriotic summer barbeque calls for a seven layer dip!  And this is one of our favorites! Super simple.  Healthier alternative than most.  And great for dipping chips or veggies too!   Ingredients:  1 tub plain Greek yogurt 2 cans refried beans (I used organic vegetarian) 1 16oz jar of salsa Shredded romaine lettuce Black olives, sliced Roma tomatoes, finely diced Taco flavored shredded cheese Blue corn tortilla chips Directions:  In a 13×9 baking dish, spread refried beans evenly across pan.  Top with layer of salsa- 3/4- 1 c.  Add layer of sliced black olives.  Top olives with shredded lettuce then shredded cheese.  Dice Roma tomatoes, set aside.  Spoon Greek…

    One of our favorites and a super easy 5 ingredient BREAKFAST COOKIES 🍪🍌! These are a nice change from the waffles they ask for every day! This took us 5 MINUTES to make and 15 to cook.  And our batch made 16 cookies! Recipe? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 Ingredients: 3 over ripe bananas, mashed 2 c old fashioned oats (not steel cut) 1 scoop vanilla plant protein powder (optional) 2 eggs 1 tsp cinnamon 1/3 c dark chocolate chips (optional) Directions: Preheat oven to 350*. Mash bananas.  Add egg. Whisk. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.  Scoop  1.5” mounds onto parchment lined baking sheets. Bake at 350* until browned on edges. Let cool on…
