The BEST Banana Bread Recipe

I vowed to use this time at home to bake more with the girls.

Their most recent request was for a super gooey, chocolate chip filled banana bread. And where I’ve made good banana breads in the past I was determined to make THE recipe that would wow them and assure that not one crumb would go to waste.

This. Is. It.

Gooey. Buttery. Full of flavor. And better than any I’ve made before. We hope you enjoy this as much as we have! Let me know what you think!

Ingredients:

3 mashed, ripe bananas
1/4 c wildflower honey
3 eggs
1 cup old fashioned oats
4 tbsp butter, softened
2 tbsp organic cane sugar
1.5 c whole grain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp pink sea salt
1/3 c chocolate chips, divided

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350*. Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add eggs and honey and softened butter. Mix well. Add dry ingredients minus chocolate chips. Mix well. Fold in 1/4 cup of chocolate chips. Pour into 9×5″ baking tin sprayed with cooking spray or greased with butter. Top with remaining chocolate chips.

Bake at 350* for 40-50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes then transfer to baking rack for 5-10 minutes.

Enjoy!
