Flourless Chocolate Fudge Brownies
There comes a time in life when you feel incomplete. Where there’s a void inside that is longing to be filled. I found the filler… And it’s made of gooey, fudgey, chocolate. These are the holy grail of brownies. Gooey. Dense. And best thing yet… they’re healthy. Okay. Okay. They’re not made out of kale and quinoa and crushed dreams. But they have some healthier alternatives to make them a lot more friendly on your waistline and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. Plus they’re gluten free if that’s your jam! If you’re like I am and using them for a refeed day for your fitness routine, they’re perfect! I…

Unicorn Bark!
It’s truly magical. That mom moment when you whip up a healthier snack for your kids and they actually like it. And eat it. Maybe it’s because I used the word unicorn. It seems that if you put the word unicorn in front of anything it creates a lot of hype. Or if you add just enough color and sprinkles. “Moommmmm… I don’t want broccoli for dinner.” “But it’s unicorn broccoli!” “YUUMMMMM!!! Can I have seconds?!” It’s that easy. Last night we whipped up this batch of yumminess. Protein packed, nothing artificial (except for the sprinkles!), and satisfies that sweet tooth- and made for a perfect…

I hope you enjoy as much as I did! Ingredients: 1/2 scoop Chocolate Shakeology 1/2 scoop Strawberry Shakeology 4 medium strawberries, rinsed and stems cut off 1 cup vanilla unsweetened almond…

Gingerbread Martinis (Without the Guilt)
Give me a gingerbread cookie and I’m a happy momma. Give me a gingerbread cookie I can drink, one for adults, a little something to sip at a holiday party or while wrapping gifts on Christmas Eve, and I’m happier than my kids on Christmas morning! We had our own little Christmas party this weekend and I’m happy to say I put my previous bartending experience to good use and whipped up some delicious concoctions that are easier on the waistline and cleaned up a bit too. I’m looking forward to another one of these on Christmas Eve, snuggled up in warm blankets, Christmas slippers on, and watching It’s a…

Dark Chocolate Shakeology Granola Bars
It’s 10:00 pm. Do you know where your husband is? Mine’s in the pantry. Eating something with peanut butter. If it’s not him it’s me. Usually I need chocolate too. So I needed a solution. Something that would make for a good “late night bite” without feeling like I’m ruining the days nutrition. Sorry Ben and Jerry, but you guys don’t play fair. Last night I whipped these up and stick them in the fridge. My girls loved them for breakfast and I’m snacking on one as we speak. Hopefully I’ll have some left when my husband gets home from his trip tomorrow! Dark Chocolate Shakeo Granola…
