We’ve Gone International- Coaching and Fitness Mentoring Now in The U.K.

I remember that day just like it was yesterday.  I had been on the fence for a while.

Self doubt and anxiety always had (and sometimes still have) a way of creeping in and making me second guess myself. 

But I knew if I didn’t do it, I’d always have that “what if” feeling.  So one month after my 31st birthday, with my birthday money still burning a hole in my pocket, I invested in myself and started a business where I was the boss, and it scared the $%#+ out of me, but, I knew that I was meant for something more.  The postpartum moodiness/emotions, not feeling great in my skin, busyness of nursing school starting up again, and three young girls at home, my husband looked at me like I was crazy.

Maybe it was the fact that I was no longer contributing income to our family.  Or that I was still self conscious about my body, one that had carried and given life to three beautiful girls, or that I just NEEDED a community of support, but I went all in.

Three years later, that $140 investment has more than paid for itself, and I don’t just mean in income.  I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’m healthier than I’ve ever been. I’ve not only gained muscle but I’ve gained confidence.  I no longer feel sluggish day in and day out and crave that afternoon nap.  I’ve learned so much about health and fitness and about leadership too.  I’ve learned to love my body and embrace the journey, and I get to help other women do the same, everyday. 

But ultimately, I’ve gained a community.  Support. Encouragement. Love. Friendships. And a pretty amazing tribe of women who show up for each other and continue to raise the bar in their own lives everyday.  And as we expand to the U.K. I can’t help but feel “home”, doing what I love.  

I am hiring for my November Apprenticeship program and opening this opportunity for women who are ready to take that same leap, and begin something amazing.
