Why I Became a Beachbody Coach
I remember that day that I walked into the gym, not really sure of what I was doing but decided to give it a shot. I had worked out before in a gym, granted it was in high school, but I could pull it off, right? Well… I got some weird looks. I was a scrawny, skinny girl, barely 20 years old, and couldn’t lift much to save my life. I looked around at my company and was clearly out of place. I didn’t know what I was doing and no one bothered to help me. Instead, I heard a couple snickers when I tried to use the leg press machine with little success. I may as well have been in a “gym fails” video. So I left, and I didn’t go back. It wasn’t until years later that I met my husband and he really sparked my interest in fitness again. It took a lot of time to rebuild my confidence in working out and I needed a fresh start.
Let’s face it. It’s not easy to workout in front of a lot of people, especially if you are unsure of what you are doing, you are not entirely pleased with your body type, and if you are like me, you don’t want to look silly doing it. But I didn’t want to feel that way. I didn’t want others to feel that way. I wanted to regain my confidence and help other people boost theirs too. I wanted to help people have faith in themselves, know that it’s a difficult journey, but that we could do it together and I would help motivate them each step of the way. So when I came across the opportunity to become a Beachbody coach by meeting my amazing coach through Instagram, I knew it was for me. I could WORK from home and be with my babies, aged 5, 2, and 5 months at the time. I could EARN an income while doing what I loved- working out and helping others. I could work MY OWN HOURS, I could work as much or as little as I wanted and would soon learn that the word work was something that unhappy people use to call what they did everyday.
Most importantly, I could turn that uneasiness, that fear of working out in front of others into a confidence in working out WITH others. I can contest that fitness is absolutely a journey. We are each on our own and when you are doing something that feels good you want to share it with others. I share my ability to help others feel better about themselves, and it feels good seeing their lives changing for the better. Becoming a Beachbody coach has been such a blessing to my life and my family’s lives. I can be home and love on my kiddos which has been an absolute dream come true. Below is a little video on what being a Beachbody Coach means to me. It has been a very emotional and gratifying experience for me, thus the reason I am emotional in my video. I would love to help you on your journey and have you join me as a coach on my team. I am looking for 5 women to personally train and get started on this incredible journey.
