As a mommy, a pediatric nurse, and health and fitness coach, one of the biggest questions I am asked is, “How do I make this a healthier lifestyle for my family?” With childhood obesity rates climbing to now affecting every 1 in 6 children, we as parents need to step up and get our kids active and healthy. There are so many indoor distractions today- between phones, tv, games, miscellaneous electronics, that don’t keep our kids active.
