    The Final Countdown- 8 Week Fitness Bootcamp 11/6-12/31

    It’s the final countdown… did you sing it like you remember it from the 80’s?!   Tell me if you’ve been here before.  That first week of a brand new year and ambition is high.  We set lofty goals.  We’re determined.  We want to lose X amount of pounds and inches.  We envision this rockstar summer body.  We are going to CRUSH it this year…. and then St. Patty’s day happens.  Then Easter candy.  Memorial Day, summer BBQ’s, Labor Day, Halloween Candy… and well, goals didn’t quite get met.  Progress was, well…  Think about this…  There are 9 weeks left in 2017… If you lose 3 pounds per week that’s 27…

    Superfood Smoothie Bowl- Easy Lunch!

    Shift Shop Exclusive Test Group! (July 17th!)

    Breathing heavy, hunched over, sweat dripping into my eyes in the hot heat of Punta Cana, and Chris Downing, Beachbody’s newest trainer and creator of Shift Shop was shouting “I WILL NOT QUIT!!!     Texas Caviar- Clean and Simple

      We all do it.  We have a BBQ coming up.  We swear we’re going to plan ahead, find some cute/healthy/fun recipe on Pinterest to make and an hour before we go it’s scramble mode to get it together!   Raiding the pantry and trying to throw something together.   Fortunately, if you’re like me and have a few things in your pantry and fridge already, this can be a breezy 5 minute recipe!   We use this as a salad, a side, a dip for tortilla chips, and to top turkey burgers, burritos, tacos, and really anything!   You can swap out several things but here’s a good base!…

    3 Week Summer Sweat- June 19 – July 10

    Summer goals!  You’ve heard that phrase- summer bodies are made in the winter… what’s made in the summer?  Healthy habits are made in the summer- with a little bit of balance and moderation too.   For me, summer  used to be a free-for-all.  Cocktails.  BBQ’s.  Travel.  Wine.  Treats.  Snacks.  Ice cream… all summer long.  And come September I was feeling the bloat of a summer of throwing all caution to the wind and saying yes to everything.   We’ve all been there… work your butt off during the winter and spring months to gear up for swimsuit shopping only to blow all that hard work on that first big beach…

    Honey Balsamic Chicken Stir-Fry

      Tonight’s dinner took 10 minutes start to finish.  1-2 minutes to chop chicken and veggies (we grill a bunch of chicken on Sunday for meal prep during the week).  7 minutes to cook it all in the skillet.  1 minute to plate and serve!   ***Cauliflower rice is such a healthy alternative especially if you’re gluten free or following a low carb plan.  You can’t even tell the difference!  My husband loved it and he doesn’t eat cauliflower!   For the Stir Fry:  2 c chopped chicken (grilled it yesterday- we use it for meal prep!) 1 pkg frozen riced cauliflower  1 large red bell pepper- diced 2 c…
