Here we are at 5 days out from show date! Things are starting to get real and I am getting even more excited! My suit is being overnighted tonight, I have two lifting workouts left and everything is scheduled! Can’t wait!

8 Days Out Bikini Competition Update
Hi! As some of you may already know, I’m currently training for my second bikini competition this year. I did my first in April and went the road alone! It was an exhilirating experience and I promised myself I would do it again, next time with more muscle. Well, I decided on a show on June 27th and have spent the last 12 weeks eating, bulking, lifting, and getting ready for this next show. I couldn’t be more excited! Vegetarian Couscous Salad
Vegetarian Couscous Salad This is a favorite of mine. A yummy, one-dish meal, perfect for an on-the-go lunch, or a light, healthy dinner. Ingredients: For the salad: 1 c whole wheat couscous 1 tsp EVOO 1 medium tomato (chopped) 1 c frozen peas (thawed) 1 can kidney beans rinsed & drained 1/2 tsp parsley 1/4 c low fat Feta cheese For the dressing: 3 tbsp EVOO 2 tbsp red wine vinegar 1 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp sea salt 1 tsp basil Directions: Bring 1 1/4 c water to a boil, add tsp of EVOO and couscous. Chocolate Shakeology Protein Bites Because sometimes when you have a snack attack, it has to be a cookie! And when it does, this is a a perfect, healthy, alternative to a sugar-packed, ball of unhealthiness! Ingredients: 1 c quick cook oats 1/2 c all natural peanut butter 1/4 c wildflower honey 1 scoop/packet chocolate Shakeology Directions: Mix all ingredients until combined well in a bowl. Roll into 1″ balls. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Enjoy! *You can also add 1/4 c flaxseed meal but may need to add a little more honey!
