2022 Summer Bucket List

Summer is Here!!! And it’s time for our Bucket List!

The annual #RobertsFamilySummerBucketList is here and we are ready for it!!

Years ago when these kids were tiny, we started this tradition of creating a bucket list of all the adventures we want to do around the St. Louis area during the summer.

What started as a way to keep us all busy during the summer and a reason to explore more of the city and all that it has to offer, turned into an annual tradition that we all look forward to each year.

I read a quote once that said, “We only get 18 summers with our kids. Might as well make the most of them.” And we have been fully living by that with each passing summer as these kids get bigger and bigger and our summers together get fewer and fewer.

If you’re from the St. Louis area, you know the city is a great place for adventures, exploring, and creating lots of family memories. There are so many free activities, parks, museums, the zoo, etc that it’s nearly impossible to squeeze them all into one summer. So we do what we do best, and snag a bunch of our favorites and between camps and other activities, we fill in the gaps with our Summer Bucket List! We have spent so much time traversing the city, checking out parks, trails, restaurants, family fun activities, and adding to our list every year.

This year, we’ve laid out a pretty great list and I’ve linked them all below for you. From parks to splash pads, the zoo, some St. Louis staples, to delicious treats for hot summery days, we hope this list inspires you to create your own summer bucket list and add your own set of adventures into the mix too!
