Coach Summit 2015- Nashville
It’s been a few weeks but my first experience at Coach Summit happened over the weekend of July 16th and I’m still on a Summit “high”! If you’re not familiar with what Summit is, it’s the annual training trip from Beachbody where this year 25,000 coaches out of 330,000 came together. There is recognition, celebration, training, and workouts with celebrity trainers.
I got to fist bump Sagi (the Body Beast guy) after my workout. I kind of felt like a big deal. I showed up to my workout with Autumn Calabrese (creator of 21 Day Fix/Extreme and Fixate) wearing the same thing she was wearing. She should have called me first. Her bad. And a huge victory when my husband joined me and 20,000 other coaches on the street at 6 AM for the biggest workout in Nashville history! We shut down Broadway! It was insane!
But it wasn’t all about workouts and training. When I joined Beachbody as a coach in September 2014, I knew I wanted to help more people reach their goals of getting healthy, eating better and getting in better shape. What I didn’t know was that I was going to be greatly impacted by what I was doing. Helping one person lose 10 lbs was a good feeling. Helping someone else regain that confidence they were lacking. Another drop several pants sizes in a month. Another fitting into their pre-pregnancy clothes and their pre-college clothes! Wow! What a feeling! And to head to a weekend event filled with thousands of other coaches with the same mission, the same humbling feelings of starting out by helping just one person, and growing into this amazing organization was incredible! I met my coach who I had connected with on Instagram and we live halfway across the country. I met many of the other coaches who I’ve been working with online day in and day out. It’s been so good to get to know, personally, the people that are on my team, to get to hang out with them in person. To talk about our businesses and what we’re doing to help change lives.
The leadership, the unity, the togetherness of not only being part of an amazing team but being part of something bigger made this overall experience so completely rewarding. I never would have imagined this journey would take me here and bring me to meet such great people and do such amazing things. I am absolutely excited about next year, and already have my ticket for Nashville 2016. I am looking forward to bringing my team with me next year.
