    Pumpkin Vanilla Muffins (clean eating)

    Hello September.  Enter : pumpkin spice everything.  Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin cereal, pumpkin spice toilet paper, pumpkin spice deodorant.  Seriously.  Everything. Fortunately I don’t let our family fall into the trap of artificial pumpkin flavors.  We like the real deal.  So onto the bandwagon I go.  Capitalizing on the everything pumpkin.     Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer (clean)

    Because once September hits, the pumpkin spice is flowing like the Budweiser beers during Cardinals playoffs (another reason why I love this time of year!).   So contrary to my husband who wanted to stick to the artificial stuff, I wanted to recreate that PSL flavor without the added sugar, artificial flavors, or food dyes.   Ingredients: 1 c vanilla unsweetened almond milk 1 tbsp pumpkin purée 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 tbsp pure maple syrup  Directions  Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over low-medium heat whisking lightly until purée has dissolved and milk begins to steam.  Remove from heat and pour into a mason jar or…
