    Let’s talk about sugar and it’s VICIOUS cycle. Cravings. Not getting full. Our bodies need carbohydrates for energy. Sugar is the simplest form of carbohydrates meaning our body uses them instantly and we remain hungry. Artificial sweeteners/high fructose corn syrups, candy, soda, can trick our body and release a chemical (dopamine) aka the “feel good” chemical that gives us a high and we CRAVE it more. Eat a candy bar. Chances are it’ll “satisfy” that craving and 20 minutes later you’re craving something else. Don’t get me started on food addictions.     I just wrapped my second ever round of 21 Day Fix Extreme on Monday and wow!  I loved this program when I used it for competition prep back in February because it gave me shredded results and I loved it again now for that very same reason.   The pic on the left is 8 days after my last competition.  That’s right.  I was that girl who binge ate for a week after my show, was bloated, felt like crap, and what did I have to show for it except the pics on the left.     21 Day Fix Extreme is Under Way!

    As of yesterday I officially started 21 Day Fix Extreme!  I have made some really crummy decisions with food last week and am paying for it now.  I gained 6 lbs in one week.  Granted, our competition was the 27th and we were really lean, but the amount of cake, ice cream, BBQ, snacks, cheat meals, and all around junk I ate wasn’t pretty.  So I did it, I’m done with it, and I’m starting fresh this week.
